Hey everyone — and welcome to the very first official post on Captain Jack’s World!
Now that the website is finally up and running (after a little digital adventure), I’m excited to start sharing all the things that make this time of year special.
First up: the Christmas Tree Village Scene!
Setting this up every December is one of my favorite traditions, and I’ll be bringing you along as the lights go up, the houses get arranged, and the whole world comes to life piece by piece. There’s just something magical about watching a tiny village glow at night.
And for my bird-loving friends — Purple Martin season is right around the corner!
January kicks off another year of preparation, excitement, and early arrivals. I’ll be sharing updates, tips, and maybe even a few surprises as we get ready for the first scouts.
This is just the beginning.
